 I am Stan Shedaker and with my wife Rachael, we operate a custom touring company for cycling and kayaking enthusiasts. You might think of us as an outfitter providing eco-tours of the Eastern Shore customed to your plans. I have 12 years experience taking college freshmen on wilderness orientation trips and 12 years experience on the organization committe for the SeaGull Century - one of the premier bike rides in the country. I am certified in first aid and life guard training. I have credentials in adaptative paddling for individuals with special needs. We have a special piece of equipment for helping individuals get into the kayaks. Our kayaks are very stable and all of our trips are on flat water. The only challenge will be the wind... the boat is not tippy, but the paddle can be hard and quite a work out heading into the wind. We are an ideal custom tour experience for groups of 4 adults. Enjoy day events and half-day kayak tours. We offer unique places to stay - from a houseboat on the Manokin River to a trailer in Rumbley, MD. We let you experience first hand the beauty of Maryland's Eastern Shore. |
